Phönix Stellenangebote GmbH is seeking a working student in IT, software development and automation. The role is 100% remote throughout Germany, with flexible working hours and up to 20 hours per week. More hours may be possible during semester breaks.
The company develops its own systems rather than software for customers. These systems automate recruiting processes, operate job boards, optimize internal workflows and are used productively every day while being continuously developed. Responsibilities may include developing functions for recruiting platforms, supporting internal web applications and tools, automating recurring processes, developing APIs, optimizing existing systems, assisting with databases and servers, contributing to AI projects involving OpenAI, automations and AI agents, developing internal dashboards, testing new functions, documentation and technical optimization, supporting cloud and hosting projects, and independently implementing small development projects.
You should be currently studying computer science, business informatics or a comparable subject, have initial programming experience such as PHP, JavaScript, Python or C#, be interested in web development and modern technologies, work independently and in a structured way, be motivated to learn, and have good German skills. Git/GitHub, MySQL or PostgreSQL, HTML/CSS, REST APIs, Docker, Linux, AI tools and automation platforms such as n8n, Make or Zapier are advantages but not required.
The position offers 100 % remote work within Germany, flexible scheduling around your studies, up to 20 hours per week during the semester with more possible during semester breaks, modern hardware, direct involvement and substantial responsibility in real software projects, flat hierarchies, direct exchange with management, room for ideas, and a possible opportunity to continue with the company after graduation.
To apply, send your CV, GitHub profile or a few projects you have worked on. Grades are secondary; the company says enthusiasm for software development and building solutions together is more important. An application URL, salary, the role location as a city, and telephone or email contact details are not provided. The employer is Phönix Stellenangebote GmbH, Rebstöckerstraße 64, 60326 Frankfurt am Main.
